Hi, I am Karina an enthusiastic and loving daycare provider. I am mother of a eighteen years old (former Avondale Alternative student and Claude Watson Arts Program Earl Haig Secondary School)
I received child care training based on the Montessori Method. I have been happily and success fully operating a home daycare for the past 13 years in Toronto. I run a before and after school care program for Avondale School students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5, designed to support their learning and creativity in a safe and enriching environment.
My goals go beyond taking care of the children’s basic needs, as I strive to help them develop their skills and boost their self-esteem in an atmosphere of love and respect.
I love build the foundation of trust and empathy, understanding and responding appropriately child’s emotional needs.
